
ABOUT
The Dresden Volunteer Fire Department is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. We are located on the West Side of Seneca Lake in Between Geneva and Watkins Glen. We serve both the Village of Dresden and Town of Torrey in 2018 we had a population of 1,241 residents. But don't let that number fool you, at any given time that number is easily tripled as there are multiple wineries and breweries in our district along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. We also have 3 Summer camps and a Campground in our district. We have 2 State highways that we serve as well State Route 14 & State Route 54. The Dresden Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the residents of the Village of Dresden and Town of Torrey Since 1894. It is our mission to serve our residents the best we can in the most professional manner possible. We currently house 5 Vehicles in house. An Engine, Engine Rescue, Pumper Tanker, Rescue, and a Kubota Side by Side. We Also have 3 Trailers on site for Decontamination, Spill/Hazmat Response, and Emergency Response.
